Hindu Samaj Swindon, established in 1973, is the longest serving Hindu Community Charity organisation in Swindon, and now proudly presents to you - Unity in Diversity II.
This is the second in our series of multicultural variety shows and we have great performances to entertain you which include Jazz by Swindon New College students, Irish dances by Farrell school of Irish dances, a variety of folk and cultural dances, Tabla, piano and drum recitals and much more.
You will get three hours of song, dance, and instrumentation that will keep you entertained throughout the evening with a short intermission. For those of classical inclination, you will get exposure to folk dances from across the breadth of India from Kathak and Bharat-Natyam, to Garba and Odissi. You will have tabla (Indian drums) performances and also western drumming. Finally, no show is complete without the beats of dhol – to keep your blood pumping.
