The Orchard Theatre is reaching new heights of sophistication as its extensive front-of-house refurbishment continues. One of the most striking visual changes is the dramatic evolution of the upper foyer and bar level ceiling.

Longtime visitors will remember the iconic web of red steel that defined the space. In a bold move to modernize the venue’s aesthetic, these have been completely reimagined. The transition from the classic red to a sleek, contemporary Anthracite Grey, has instantly elevated the atmosphere, trading the high-energy vibrance of the past for a refined, industrial-chic elegance.

The scale of this "glow-up" is impressive. Our dedicated team meticulously coated all 875 individual bars, using 35 litres of Dulux Metal shield paint to ensure a flawless, durable finish. This architectural shift serves as the perfect backdrop for our brand-new VIP area, providing a premium environment for guests to enjoy their pre-show drinks.
