Surrey Primary Singing Festivals 2026

The Surrey Primary Singing Festivals are a series of concerts which have been taking place for over 30 years and involve over 3000 children from more than 90 Surrey primary schools. This year, we are delighted to welcome back Esther Jones as our Festival conductor. Esther is a nationally renowned conductor, adjudicator, and workshop leader, specialising in choral music, music education, singing, health and well-being.

Our concerts draw on singing traditions from around the world, with songs carefully chosen to introduce children to part singing through rounds, layered songs and partner songs. Some schools will also perform a solo song at each concert, showcasing the excellent work that is going on to develop singing in schools across Surrey.
