Who are we
Our history
2011: Two billion people tuned in to watch Prince William marry Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 hit the cinemas ending one of the most popular franchises in history, and, most significantly of all, G Live opened its doors! Over a decade later, G Live has established itself as one of South East’s leading live entertainment venues.
The venue’s comfortable auditorium seats up to 1031 audience members, and is fully air-conditioned (for all those blistering summers Guildford is known for). The theatre also boasts several bars, refreshment kiosks, and spacious foyers.
Our eclectic programme features a wide array of top-quality music, comedy, dance, drama, family shows, and one-night events including Jimmy Carr, Dawn French, Tim Minchin, and Diversity as well as touring productions, including; The Rocky Horror Show, Lord of the Dance and Strictly Ballroom.'
Creative Learning
As a venue, we also provide a variety of arts outreach projects – from half-term workshops to monthly cinema clubs and our famous summer youth project.
Charity Partners
Great Ormond Street Hospital
Trafalgar Theatres are proud to support the Theatres for Theatres Appeal, in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity. With the generosity of our audiences, staff members and visiting companies we have collectively raised over £1million for the charity.
This amazing milestone has helped to build and equip a suite of brand new operating theatres at the Hospital which will open later this year, helping to save the lives of sick children from across the United Kingdom.
The next phase of our fundraising will see contributions going towards an IMRI (Intraoperative Magnetic Resonance Imaging) suite at the hospital. This vital facility will enable neurosurgeons at Great Ormond Street Hospital to conduct scans mid-operation for the first time, without taking the child away from the operating table. It will transform brain surgery by giving surgeons real time data to ensure they can deliver the best outcome for each patient as well as limiting the need for further surgery.
Your support makes a huge difference. Thank you.

TALK Surrey CIO
Imagine life if you suddenly found yourself unable to read a newspaper, write a shopping list, talk to family or friends, use a telephone or many other everyday activities. Aphasia means problems with communication (speaking, understanding, reading, writing). Aphasia has a sudden and profound effect on the person, their family and friends. It impacts on the individual’s confidence, personal relationships, employment and social life. It is a communication disability that is caused by damage to the language processing centres of the brain, most commonly through stroke.
TALK is a charity that supports people with aphasia and their families in Surrey. They have five groups who meet in different parts of Surrey offering long-term social support to people with aphasia, and can arrange home visits for people who can't get to a group. The groups take place in: Ashford, Knaphill, Walton, Guildford AM and Guildford PM, and offer a range of planned activities run by volunteers.
Being a TALK volunteer is a rewarding experience and a great deal of fun. If you would like to get involved contact info@talksurrey.org.uk to find out more.

The Cheryl King Trust
A charity with the aim that no young person in Surrey should be prevented from learning a musical instrument because their parents can’t afford it.
