Computer Xplorers - 3D Design

This exciting course introduces children to the exciting world of 3D design and modelling using Tinkercad, empowering them to explore their creativity through hands-on projects.

During the day, students will learn to navigate design software, understand basic shapes and structures, and apply fundamental coding principles to create dynamic designs. They will build practical skills through activities, including designing their dream bedrooms, constructing castles, and launching projectiles in the Sim Lab.

By the end of the course, students will have completed their own unique projects, showcasing their understanding of 3D design principles, spatial awareness, or coding. We can offer the opportunity to 3D print the children’s work.

Parents/Carers would need to pay an additional £5 which will cover the time and materials and would need to collect the final printed objects from G Live about a week after the workshop.
