In recent years the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra have been establishing a prestigious reputation and we’re delighted to have them visit Guildford as part of their debut UK tour. We’re also very pleased to welcome one of the UK’s most popular pianists, Freddy Kempf, who will perform his well-known interpretation of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2, regarded by many as the most romantic work in the piano concerto repertoire. The concert will begin with Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture and will end in fitting style with Tchaikovsky’s elemental Symphony No. 5, famed for its epic finale.
