In ‘Earth, Sea and Sky’, Chiltern Music Academy celebrate their BIG 10 in two dramatic concerts:
Part One (2pm) - Home Planet
The talented young musicians combine forces to celebrate our wonderful planet Earth. Including a massed performance of ‘The Living Earth’ by Chris I’Anson, the concert features Sinfonia, Stringchronise, String Stars, Academy Wind Band, Supersonic, Blast Off, Jazz Band, Vocus, Vocalise, Springboard Choir, Showstoppers, Recorder Ensemble, Junior Recorders, Recorder Racers, Springer Recorders, Springer Singers, Mini Springers, Micro Springers, Nano Springers and Find Your Forte!
Part Two (7pm) - New Horizons
Chiltern Music Academy’s award-winning senior ensembles cast their music wider as their programme reaches out into the solar system and beyond! Including ‘Jupiter’ from Gustav Holst’s ‘The Planets’, the concert features Symphony Orchestra, String Orchestra, Concert Band, Symphonic Wind Band, Big Band, Youth Choir and MT Voices.
