Wycombe Swan’s Backstage Youth Theatre programme is looking for young people keen to take part and learn more about what goes on behind the curtain at a theatre performance.
Our Backstage Youth Theatre offers an exciting opportunity to develop a range of skills and learn from top industry professionals about sound, lighting, stage management, pyrotechnics, props, costume, stage makeup and more.
EVERYONE WELCOME, BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR AUTUMN WORKSHOPS WILL BE FOCUSSING ON LIGHTING AND SOUND.
Workshops take place on Mondays during the term, 6pm-8.30pm.
During the workshops you will explore the behind-the-scenes elements of theatre through demonstrations and practical activities. This is a programme for anyone with limited experience in backstage theatre and interested in tasters of all areas of backstage work.
