Who are we
Since opening its doors in 1992, Wycombe Swan has grown into one of Buckinghamshire’s leading live entertainment venues. Born in a year that celebrated the Queen’s Ruby Jubilee and the magic of Aladdin’s “A Whole New World,” the Wycombe Swan marked the beginning of its own story - a stage for unforgettable performances and community moments that continue to shine over three decades later.
Our eclectic programme features a wide array of top-quality musicals, drama, comedy, dance, family shows, one-night events, in addition to a world-class pantomime every holiday season (oh yes, it does!).
The venue’s comfortable auditorium seats up to 1076 audience members, and is fully air-conditioned (for all those blistering summers High Wycombe is known for). The theatre also boasts the Oak Room and the Old Town Hall

Volunteering
Our friendly team of volunteers help usher shows and assist the Front of House Team in several duties, including greeting our customers with a warm welcome , assisting with directing guests during an evacuation and enhancing the overall customer experience. There are also other opportunities throughout our programme to get involved with promotional days and creative learning events, no two days are the same here! Our volunteering program provides a fantastic opportunity to make new friends whilst being an active member of your local theatre. We’ll make sure that you receive appropriate training, instruction, and support for any volunteer duty we invite you to undertake and we hope that you may be able to volunteer for a few days a month, so that you can get the most from your volunteering experience with us. We’re always looking for more volunteers to join the team, so if you share our passion for the performing arts, and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people, we’d love to hear from you!
