Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales is full of deliciously dark twists and turns, and tales old and new will be brought to life in this exciting production. Journey with us through dark forests to golden palaces and gingerbread houses, meeting witches, talking frogs, Kings, wolves, and Princesses along the way.
Prime Youth Theatre’s exciting production brings together a talented cast of young actors to work with professional creatives from the world of theatre. Puppetry, music, and physical theatre combine to conjure up a macabre mix of humour and wickedness to tell the stories of Little Red Riding Hood, The Frog King, Rapunzel, Hansel & Gretel, and The Juniper Tree.
There will be a short pre-show performance by our CentreStage group in the theatre 15 minutes before the show begins.
Phillip Pullman’s adaptation adheres closely to the dark and eerie nature of the original stories, therefore our recommended age guidance is 9+.
Please note: the Friday performance will have a BSL interpreter.
