Memory Cinema at the Swindon Arts Centre provides a facility where those living with Dementia, their carers, friends and families can watch a range of films.
All performances are relaxed, meaning the house lights stay on, and doors are open.
There is also an opportunity to speak to advisors for information and help.

The Memory Cinema is sponsored by Home Instead, who provide bespoke, relationship-led Home Care for those living with Dementia and their carers and often attend for support and advice for visitors.
"I think that the Wyvern running a Memory Café is very good," says David Baddiel, comedian & Alzheimer's Society Ambassador. "When someone has dementia, you’ve got to remember there’s still a real person there, not just a stereotype of someone looking at the wall with a blanket on their knees. There’s a 360 degree person in there and having Memory Café's and not just storing them away somewhere is a very good thing."
