It’s a pleasure to welcome back this intriguing combination of instruments from Enigma14. They are rapidly gaining a reputation for exciting and communicative performances:
We can look forward to Trios by Louise Farrenc, full of long melodies and sparkling classicism, Gaubert with his exotic and impressionistic colours, Ravel’s ever-popular Mother Goose Suite and Françaix’s humorous writing, packed with rhythmic surprises and quotes from famous pieces.
