This new play was recently performed at the West End and is based on the life of Florence Foster Jenkins, a legendary New York heiress, who wanted to be an operatic diva - despite having one of the worst singing voices in history.

We are transported to the 1940's as we follow Florence who is determined to perform at Carnegie Hall, using all her money, charm and unstoppable will power to make it happen. She is aided and abetted by her bemused pianist, and her ditzy, but devoted companion Dorothy who is accompanied everywhere by her dog. Throw into this mix a very bad tempered Mexican maid who cannot speak a word of English, and you have what the Times described as a "lunatically funny comedy"
