Southend’s own magic club, Southend Sorcerers, is back with As if by Magic, an amazing week of magic, illusion and comedy for the whole family. Making a welcome return to the Dixon Studio for 2026, the show promises something for everyone in this family friendly spectacle of magic. It’s entertainment all the way - you’ll experience comedy, incredible sleight of hand, mystifying magic and baffling mind reading. The show is suitable for all ages and every performance is different, plus with a special Saturday children’s magical matinee as well, the show has something for everyone. Don't forget to arrive early so that you can experience unbelievable close up magic in the theatre foyer too, from 7.00 each evening and at 1.30 for the Saturday matinee. ‘As if by Magic’ runs at 8.00, from Tue 21st to Sat 25th July 2026, with the special children’s magic matinee on Sat 16th at 2.30. An amateur production
