Southend has a rich and thriving music scene stretching back over many years. It is to showcase the variety of talent on offer in the city, that the Dixon Sessions return with a great line up to kick the new season off: Out of the Mist and Mister Pockets.
Out of The Mist are a Southend based acoustic duo. The pair will be performing their latest single Woman Don’t Tear Me Down, which was recently featured on BBC Introducing. Their blend of folk, jazz and blues interwoven with spiritually driven lyrics brings delight for both ears and heart.
Mister Pockets formed in 2016 comprising of Chris on bass and lead vocals, Chris on guitar and backing vocals and Andy on drums and backing vocals. having a collective passion for classic rock, 90s alternative music and a love of playing from the heart.
