Join us on the 1st June for this month’s Dixon Sessions, bringing live local music to our intimate Dixon Studio within the Palace Theatre. This month we have headliner Basharan and support from Volume 11.
Volume 11: We are an all-girls punk rock band who play a mix of originals and covers. Our music draws inspiration from iconic bands such as Hole, Bikini Kill, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. As a young band, aged 16 to 18, we have been playing together for over a year now. Based in Southend-on-Sea, we perform gigs in our local area and are passionate about sharing our music.
Basharan: Basharan is an explosive modern rock n roll band peppered with psychedelia. Littered with wild guitar solos, scattered with harmonies, and pulsating fiery rhythms.
Their distinctive sound, combining raw energy with memorable melodies, has caught the attention of BBC radio and numerous music blogs, helping them to make significant strides both in the UK and internationally.
Since their formation, they have performed at prominent venues across London, Essex, Switzerland and Brazil.
