We’re excited to offer a dynamic and diverse creative programme at Crewe Lyceum Theatre, and we’d love for you to join us!

We have four Youth Theatre Groups for ages 5-18, Lyceum Lites – our Drama Group for adults with learning disabilities, the Young Ambassadors Work Experience Programme, our annual Summer Youth Project and much more!

Youth Theatre

Join the Lyceum Youth Theatre at Crewe’s historic theatre to make friends, learn new skills, and build confidence! Work with professional artists in a creative, friendly environment. Terms run 12 weeks alongside the Cheshire East school calendar and is open to ages 5-18.

Creative Connections

Crewe Lyceum Theatre has teamed up with Visyon, a local mental health charity dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of children, young people, and their families in Cheshire East. We’re offering a free 10-week programme for young people aged 12-16, where they can explore various creative outlets and learn valuable skills for managing their mental health and overall wellbeing.

Lyceum Lites

Lyceum LITES is a theatre project for adults with neurodiversity and learning disabilities, set up in partnership with The Wingate Centre. Lead practitioner Ian Linton, who has over 14-years’ experience, will teach performance techniques and skills that best promote better communication and social interaction, while building self-confidence and creativity. The term will run for 10 weeks, meeting every Monday from10.30-12noon.

*The session lasts for 1 hour with 15 minutes either side for accessing the building.

Ticket Price: £50 for all ten sessions (No £3.65 transaction charge applied)

We offer tailored drama workshops for schools and community groups, with some of our most popular sessions including:

Summer Youth Production

Join us for an unforgettable two-week musical theatre experience in August! Work alongside a professional director, choreographer, and musical director as you rehearse and perform a full-scale smash-hit musical on our Main Stage. Open to ages 8–18, the project culminates in three exciting performances in front of a live audience. 2026 Key Dates: • Auditions: Sunday, 10 May 2026 • Project Dates: Monday, 10 August – Saturday, 22 August 2026 The title of the 2026 production will be revealed, and audition applications will open in Autumn 2025.
