The Wizard of Oz Summer Youth Project Taster Workshop

Crewe Lyceum Theatre Summer Youth Project 2026 – The Wizard of Oz  Calling all young performers aged 8–18 – Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the stage!

For two weeks in August, step into the Land of Oz and work with a professional director, choreographer, and musical director to bring The Wizard of Oz to life on our Main Stage, performing three shows! Over the unforgettable two-week project, you'll rehearse, sing, dance, and act your way through this iconic musical.

Taster Workshop – Peek Behind the Emerald Curtain!  Join us on Saturday 18th April for a sneak peek into Oz:

• Session 1: 12:30–14:30pm

• Session 2: 15:30–17:30pm

Meet the welcoming creative team, explore the story and characters, and learn some audition techniques.

Summer Youth Project Key Dates:

• Group Auditions: Sunday 10th May

• Principal Role Callbacks: Saturday 16th May, 1pm–5pm

• Project Dates: Monday 10th August – Saturday 22nd August (No rehearsal on Sunday 16th August)

• Performance Dates: Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August – 3 performances
