Comedy in the Attic

We welcome this bunch of April fools to our very popular comedy club. Come and see what the fuss is about and enjoy Jenny Hart, Dani Johns, Rob Mullholland and headlined by Martin Mor!

Martin Mor comes from Northern Ireland, and after a successful career as a circus performer, he turned his attention on the unsuspecting comedy circuit. With over 30 years experience as a professional performer, Martin has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular and in-demand comedians. Very much the comedian’s comedian, Martin has been the support act of choice for; Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner!

As we know from the media, issues of gender beyond the binary are delicate and nuanced and must be addressed with a careful sensitivity. Well Jenny Hart says “B*****ks” – quite literally – to that. Jenny’s a bold, brash, shameless presence full of gloriously inappropriate jokes and twisted, dark songs gleefully mocking some awful things. It’s a ribald, vulgar set, full of crude knockabout humour delivered with blunt vitality. And an absolute crowd pleaser.

Born and bred Bristolian Dani Johns is described as a "smart, clever pocket rocket of a comedian" whose "sassy delivery captivates every audience member". Dani is an instantly likeable act with an impressive and increasing list of accolades (includingBBC New Comedy Award, Funny Women Stage Award & Komedia Bath Act of the Year Award). With an energetic mix of storytelling and serious over sharing, she's been named as one of the best new comics on the scene and is taking the circuit by storm. (Even Jason Manford said she’s great)

Six foot seven of pure funny, Rob Mulholland is a bombastic, mischievous gag-slinging rascal with a heart full of humour and gob full of shite. An established, bullet-proof comedy pro forged in the fires of the northern comedy circuit who now travels the world packing big belly laughs. A regular at all the biggest comedy clubs in the UK; whether going for the kill with his playful filth-mongering and hilarious, furious tirades against minor annoyances or holding a night together with his genial but sharp hosting skills, he can adapt to any kind of crowd and event. *Line-ups are subject to change.
