Comedy in the Attic

Here we go with rounding off a stellar year of cracking comedy in fine style for the festive season. Seeing out the year for us are Dom Woodward, Katie Tracey, Alexandra Haddow and Susan Murray! Actress, writer and stand-up comic Katie Tracey is widely regarded as one of the best MC’s on the circuit. Raised in Liverpool, Katie impresses with her cheeky humour, affable manner and her shining ability to make friends with the audience. Guaranteed to get any audience on-side in moments with her brash insights and disarming charisma, the hilarity comes in effortless torrents from this scouse comic expert!

‘Affable, cheeky and fun, but most importantly bloody funny.’ Blackpool Comedy Club A regular at comedy clubs all over the country, Alexandra Haddow expertly walks the fine line between cheeky and outright smut. She has performed at Reading and Leeds festival, Victorious Festival, has supported comedy icons Frankie Boyle, Bill Bailey and Eshaan Akbar, and hosts Dulwich Hamlet Comedy every month. Originally from the East Midlands and the first in her family to go to university and pursue a career in the arts, Alexandra hilariously skewers the juxtaposition of her working-class upbringing and her current life as an East London based, freelance writer and comedian.

'One of the most exciting new acts on the circuit.' - Frankie Boyle ‘A whole lot of laughs’ - The Skinny This bad assed black country lass takes no prisoners with her irreverent, close to the knuckle and honest humour. Susan Murray will have you laughing well into the next millennium with her razor sharp cynicism. Funny, cheeky, in your face, sometimes surreal and always a bit twisted.

‘Feisty fire-headed pocket rocket’ Broadway Baby. ‘Anyone who loves the work of Sarah Millican and Kerry Godliman will find plenty to enjoy here’ The Guardian Northerner Dom Woodward's act is packed full of gags and he's been storming the circuit for over 20 years. A versatile performer he's guaranteed to have everyone in stitches. “Insightful and humorous observations.” Guardian “Effortless delivery” The Times “Engaging material” Manchester Evening News
