Don’t miss this sensationally funny celebration of the legendary comedy duo Morecambe and Wise.
Packed with with riotous comedy and musical routines, The Play What I Wrote is brought to you by the team behind last summer’s The Hound of the Baskervilles and of course Eastbourne’s beloved Devonshire Park pantomimes.
When The Play What I Wrote opened in London’s West End it garnered, rave reviews and now will be bringing Eric and Ernie’s ‘Sunshine and Smiles’ to Eastbourne this August.
You see, Dan has written a play, set in the French Revolution called “A Tight Squeeze for the Scarlet Pimple”. Ben on the other hand, wants to continue with their own double act. Perhaps a tribute to Morecambe and Wise, would fulfil both their dreams? But first they need a guest star to appear in the play what Dan wrote? Who could they get?
Serving up an hilariously fun few hours of live theatre, music and a surprise guest star! This is the perfect show for all the family to enjoy this summer!
