Live Next To The Apollo is the celebrated stand-up comedy show which resides at the iconic Riverside Studios in Hammersmith (just down the street from THE Apollo!). Building on two years of consistently packed-out shows in its intimate 100-seat venue, the show is now reaching even wider audiences with a new tour of larger venues across the South East of England. Founded and hosted by TV Producer Jonathan Stadlen, the show's success is a testament to his passion for live comedy and knack for curating top comedy line ups. Stadlen’s warmth, humour, and welcoming presence as the MC has cultivated a loyal following. His industry connections allow him to consistently book top-tier talent which has led Live Next To The Apollo to become a staple of the London comedy scene. Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand up comedian and writer who has been seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, Hypothetical and Sara Pascoe’s Comedy Lectures on Dave. She is a regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits and has written and performed on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show and presented for BBC 6 Music. Marcus Brigstocke is regarded as a major comedy, writing, and acting talent, performing stand up to sell-out audiences on tour nationally. BBC Radio 4 has become somewhat of a second home to Marcus with regular appearances on I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, The Now Show and Just a Minute. Multi award winning comedian Jeff Innocent has reached legendary status among his peers and audiences alike by staying at the top of his game for almost 3 decades. Widely acknowledged as one of the UK's top headline acts and comperes. His unique appeal lies in the contrast between his East End 'geezer’ appearance and demeanour, and his educated, philosophical delivery and culturally relevant subject matter. Always original, he continues to cement his position within the history of British stand up comedians, winning multiple prestigious comedy awards including British Comedian of the Year and Best Live Club Comedian at the UK Comedy Awards. He has recently acquired a whole new generation of fans, through his online viral video clips which have clocked up over 10,000,000 views.
