Who are we
1977: Star Wars premiered in cinemas, Concorde recorded its first commercial flight, and, most significantly of all, Churchill Theatre opened its doors! Over five decades later, Churchill Theatre has established itself as one of the South East’s leading live entertainment venues, welcoming over 200,000 customers through its doors every year. The theatre’s comfortable auditorium seats up to 781 audience members, and is fully air-conditioned (for all those blistering summers Bromley is known for).
Our eclectic programme features a wide array of top-quality musicals, drama, comedy, dance, family shows, one-night events, in addition to a world-class pantomime every holiday season (oh yes, it does!). The theatre is proud to host a number of premieres, allowing audiences to see brand-new productions before they hit the West End or go on a National tour!
Churchill Theatre also hosts a multi-use studio space, weekly Creative Learning classes, preview productions, and can be hired for your special events!

Our outstanding team work together across a number of departments and specialisms, from customer-facing roles in the Front of House and Sales teams, to Hospitality, Marketing and Technical staff.

Volunteering
Our friendly team of volunteers help usher shows and assist the Front of House Team in a number of duties, including checking tickets and enhancing the customer experience. There are also other opportunities throughout our programme to get involved with promotional days and creative learning events, no two days are the same here! Our volunteering program provides a fantastic opportunity to make new friends whilst being an active member of your local theatre.
We’re always looking for more volunteers to join the team, so if you share our passion for the performing arts, and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people, we’d love to hear from you!
