DocDoc: We all have one. What's yours?
Patients start arriving on an ordinary day in an ordinary surgery waiting room somewhere in London. It’s a scene you could see in any ordinary English town on any day of the week. Only these patients are far from ordinary.
As they wait for the doctor to arrive, we discover that these six characters suffer from a startling range of disorders. Someone has a shocking way with words, someone else has to repeat everything, and another counts words/items/actions/anything to the minutest detail. Confusion reigns only to grow as Doctor Cooper’s continued delay seems to put a permanent hold on anyone’s hope of a cure.
Thrown onto their resources our plucky group attempts their amateur version of therapy with hilarious consequences. Out of the chaos we discover that Doctor Cooper has an unusual and unorthodox approach.
DocDoc is a laugh fest about our modern obsession with those unusual habits that for most of us are just occasional individual tics but which for some grow to be life-altering compulsions.
Contains swearing, bad language and adult themes.
Advised for audiences of over fourteen years old.
