Christmas Musical Theatre Workshop

We are delighted to be offering a day of musical theatre and performance workshops titled ‘Merry Musical Christmas’ on Sunday 17 December 2023, facilitated by an industry expert, Ailish Murphy. Ailish is a Musical Theatre actress based in Essex. Her recent credits include Betty” (The Blues Brothers Tour), “Cinderella” (Pantomime), “Sukie Rougemont” (The Witches of Eastwick), and “Officer Barrel” (Urinetown). When she’s not performing, Ailish teaches singing and acting for various different theatre schools, and she specialises in musical theatre masterclasses for all ages.

Ailish will be using her incredible experience to work with young people aged 6 and 16+ years to deliver some festive and fun-filled musical theatre workshops. These workshops will take place in the Dixon Studio at the Palace Theatre. There are three different workshops, for three different age ranges so please ensure you are booking for the correct age range class. Within these workshops, we will explore singing, dancing, and acting, all themed around some festive favourite songs. We will be inviting parents/carers into the Dixon Studio at the end of each workshop to watch a performance for the last 15 minutes, to see a showcase of the amazing work that our participants have put into the workshops.
