Open to Everyone

Our house is open... to everyone! We offer accessible seating and a reduction on tickets at most performances for disabled visitors, students, people over 60, and claimants.

Wheelchair Users

We sell wheelchair spaces in person at the Box Office or by phone only. This is because different spaces are suitable for different types of wheelchair and we want to ensure audience members have the correct area for their needs. Our Box Office team will discuss your requirements with you and seat you in the most appropriate area (subject to availability). Wheelchair positions, seats on row V of the Stalls, Boxes and some discounts (including hynt scheme discounts) are not available to book online. You will need to call the Box Office directly to book these seats and discounts.

There is a lift to all levels which is accessed via the auditorium. A staff member will escort you on request (although please check before booking if you have access needs as there are still steps to most seats when you exit the lift). We have two accessible toilets situated at the far end of the stalls bar.

The hynt scheme

Members of the hynt scheme can bring personal assistants/carers to attend at no cost. Due to the conditions of the hynt scheme, we can’t post tickets in advance and you will need to collect them in person before the performance. We need to see the hynt card when the tickets are collected.

Accessible performances and publications

We aim to make visiting the theatre an enjoyable, accessible experience for everyone. We offer a variety of BSL-interpretedaudio-describedcaptioned and enhanced described performances across the season.

We also offer a relaxed performance of our pantomime and you can find a visual story to help you familiarise yourself with the venue before you arrive on our website.

Ticket sales for Relaxed Performances are also only available via the Box Office (in person or by phone).

Large print and Braille cast lists in

Free cast lists in large print and Braille and pre-production notes are available for a small number of productions on request in advance.

Drinks delivery

Our staff can also bring interval drinks to the seats of visually impaired people on request. Please speak to a staff member before the show begins.

Audio flyers

Where possible we aim to provide audio flyers, BSL flyers and captioned flyers of all audio described, BSL interpreted and captioned performances.

Support dogs

Hearing dogs, guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in the theatre. We can offer suitable seats on request when you book. Staff can care for support dogs during your visit on request. If you would like to arrange this in advance please phone the Front of House Management office on 02920 990 259. Please ask for information on special effects that might affect the comfort of your dog during the performance.
