Remember Remember the 8th of November!. The only thing blowing up around here is more fantastic stand-up at our regular stand-up Lyceum comedy club! November fun-fire-crackers are Matt Price, Andrew O’Neill, Kate McCabe and Dave Twentyman! Matt has performed in 30 countries, including Turkey, Cambodia, Australia and Russia. He is a big friendly guy from Cornwall. He likes to tell stories, he tells jokes and interacts with a crowd in a way that makes everyone in the room feel good. Matt's stories are from the wilder side of life but surprisingly easy to relate to. ‘One of the best storytellers on the circuit’ ★★★★ Artshub Australia ‘criminally funny’ ★★★★ The Scotsman Andrew O'Neill is an award-winning stand-up comedian, musician and best-selling writer. A psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up. Their distinctive voice and alternative credentials have set them apart and allowed them to carve out a unique place in the comedy world.
'One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment... hitting new heights of comedic brilliance' Timeout '... talented, intelligent and unique. Bringing the spirit of the alternative '80s back into the comedy circuit' Dazed & Confused Dave Twentyman has been described as "upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet" It's no wonder then that Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet – a tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic. ‘F**king Brilliant’ JOHN BISHOP ‘More than comedy, this is hilarious therapy’ RORY BREMNER ‘Works the audience so well.’ JASON MANFORD Kate McCabe is an American comic who lives in the UK and gigs all over the country. You can also catch her with ComedySportz Manchester and Murder Inc Improv. When she is not working professionally as a comic, she also lends her voice to audio books and video games. You may have even been killed by her flamethrower-wielding baddie in Tom Clancy’s THE DIVISION 2. ‘Just a goddam delight’ Manchester Wire ‘Delivers strong material with aplomb’ Three Weeks
