The Tormead School for Girls Choir is celebrated for its rich, blended sound and spirited performances. Comprising talented vocalists from across the school, the choir presents an engaging repertoire from classical to contemporary works, reflecting both technical excellence and heartfelt expression, and inspiring audiences with every performance. Tormead School prides itself on its thriving Music Department. Nearly two thirds of pupils learn an instrument in school.
Pupils participate in an array of Music clubs from a young age, from Jazz to Classical and chamber Music to larger orchestras and choirs. Our 2025-26 season will include performances in Amsterdam, as well as at Guildford and Portsmouth Cathedrals.
Choral and solo works including contemporary composers including John Rutter.
