QUEEN keyboardist, Spike Edney and his All-Star Band are coming back to G Live to kick-off the festive season and celebrate the Band's 30th Anniversary with a line-up of legendary recording artists!
This evening will feature special guest appearances by some of Spike’s rockstar and musician friends, performing their biggest hits, from across the decades. The musicians backing these artists tour with some of the biggest bands in the world.
This is a night for real music lovers and guaranteed to sell-out, so it’s advised to book early!
Artists who have appeared with SAS Band in the past, include: Roger Taylor and Brian May (Queen), Tony Hadley (previously Spandau Ballet), Graham Gouldman (10cc), Roger Daltrey, Paul Rodgers, Jeff Beck, Melanie C (Spice Girls), Toyah Wilcox, Kiki Dee, Madeline Bell (Blue Mink), Midge Ure (Ultravox), Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), The Fabbagirls (The Ultimate Abba tribute), Mark King (Level 42), Paul Young, Fish (Marilion), Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band), Leo Sayer, Bob Geldof (Boomtown Rats), Lulu, Suggs, Amy Winehouse, Errol Brown, Bruce Dickinson, Alexandra Burke, Paloma Faith and many more.
Spike Edney is one of the most respected and versatile session musicians and musical directors in the business. In addition to Spike's 40 year career with QUEEN, he has toured, recorded and performed with many other living and late legends of our time. It is from this extensive network of musician friends, he will call upon to put together this highly anticipated show.
