Summer Youth Project

Coming July 2026

- Mon 26 Jul - Sat 8 Aug - For ages 8-18 years - £280 per participant - Bursary and instalment payment agreements available.

All children, except one, grow up... But next summer, your child can fly!

Join our magical 2-week Summer Youth Project, which this year will be Peter Pan!

Fareham Live's exciting Summer Youth Project invites young performers aged 8-18 years old to step into the spotlight as they rehearse, create, and perform the timeless tale of Peter Pan — the boy who wouldn’t grow up.

From singing pirates and daring swordfights to fantastical make-believe, Peter Pan is a story filled with magic, swashbuckling fun, and a sprinkle of fairy dust. This project will support your child in building confidence, teamwork, and creativity through drama, dance, and song — all guided by experienced theatre professionals in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether they dream of flying, leading the Lost Boys, or walking the plank with Captain Hook, every child will have their moment to shine.

💬 “To live will be an awfully big adventure.” And next summer, the adventure begins on stage.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST IN THE PROJECT HERE.

Fareham Live's Summer Youth Project The first Summer Youth Project took place at Fareham Live in 2025 with "We Will Rock You" and has now become an annual tradition for Fareham Live's Creative Learning department.

The Summer Youth Project aims to provide up to 100 youngsters, aged 8–18, with the opportunity to work together in a professional theatre. The two-week project culminates in five performances of a full-scale musical under the supervision of a highly skilled creative team, including a professional Director, Choreographer, Musical Director, Producer, and Technical team! BURSARY FUNDING - Bursary payments and partial payment plans are available for those who need them. There is absolutely no judgment. What We Do

SUPPORTING EDUCATION IN FAREHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS

From backstage tours and professionally led workshops to special school pricing, we offer a range of options to support local school children in accessing the theatre.

Are you a teacher or part of the Senior Leadership Team in a school? Fareham Live is launching a new initiative with a teacher-led focus group. We want to hear how this theatre can support your students, your curriculum and your teaching. Would you like to become a part of Teacher Focus Group?

BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

We are striving to be as active as possible within our local community, and want to build partnerships with local groups, organisations and businesses. Do you represent a local group that would like to partner with Fareham Live?
