FAREHAM LIVE FAMILY FUN DAY Sunday 12th January 2025; 10am-3pm Calling all theatre lovers, drama peeps and fans of stage magic, Fareham Live is officially launching their first Family Fun Day! This is your chance to come and see and get to know your brand-new venue! Offering a behind-the scenes opportunity that you don’t want to miss, alongside a whole host of new and fun workshops and activities complemented by performances from local talent! There will be venue tours, tech talks, drama and dance workshops, early years activities for little ones plus much, much more! Event is FREE to everyone! Please, book your space for Open Day to access the workshops, activities and tours. All workshops, activities and tours can be booked on the day at Welcome Desk. Spaces are limited! ACTIVITIES ITENERARY so that you can play your day! MAIN AUDITORIUM 10:30-11:15 FAMILY DRAMA WORKSHOP (suitable for all ages) You will be exploring Platform Theatre run by Box House Theatre –Perfect for the whole family; adults and children who are walking and talking. 11:30-12:00 PERFORMANCE Fareham Musical Society will be sharing some musical numbers from their forthcoming shows. 12:15-13:00 MUSICAL THEATRE SINGING WORKSHOP (suitable for ages 8-18yrs) Led by Musical Director Rebecca Bowden from West End Experience. This is intended for children aged 8-18 years of age. 13:15-13:45 PERFORMANCE Fareham College Performing Arts Students will be performing a variety of solos and duets of musical numbers they have been working on in class. 14:00-14:45 MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE WORKSHOP (suitable for dancers of intermediate skill level) Led by Performing Arts Lecturer Caralyn Moss aided by her Performing Arts students.

STUDIO 1 10:30-11:15 SAMBA SWAN DRUMMING WORKSHOP (suitable for all abilities and primary school children upwards) Swan Samba are a drumming and movement group that plays a fusion of samba styles, influenced by samba reggae, funk, maracatu, ragga and more. 11:30-12:15 DANCE WORKSHOP (suitable for primary & secondary aged children) Roynon Dance will be taking you through a routine step-by-step led by their principal Sarah Munday 12:30-13:15 DRAMA WORKSHOP with Fareham Musical Society Acting and Drama Workshop with Fareham Musical Society looking at a scene from one of their forthcoming shows. 13:30-14:15 OVER 50’s DANCE FITNESS CLASS With TaDaa – The Alternative Drama and Arts Academy. For musical theatre performers with life experience. Learn the dance routines from the biggest Broadway and West End shows whilst getting the heart rate going! 14:30-15:00 SINGING WORKSHOP – watch this space!

STUDIO 2 10:30-11:15 INCLUSIVE DRAMA WORKSHOP (suitable for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism) Join Sunshine Productions for an inclusive drama workshop looking at drama and movement skills, working as part of a group, developing confidence and above all having fun! 11:30-12:15 STREETDANCE WORKSHOP (suitable for children aged 6-16yrs) Street Dance is full of fun and dynamic styles. Learn full out and energising routines to your favourite songs and show off your best moves. It's your time to shine! 12:30-13:15 FAMILY DRAMA WORKSHOP (suitable for all ages) You will be exploring Platform Theatre run by Box House Theatre –Perfect for the whole family; adults and children who are walking and talking. 13:30-14:15 MUSICAL THEATRE SINGING WORKSHOP (suitable for ages 8-18yrs) Led by Musical Director Rebecca Bowden from West End Experience. TERRACE BAR 10:30-11:00 EARLY YEARS SENSORY STORYTIME with ADVENTURE BABIES (suitable for babies and toddlers) Take your newborn baby on an adventure with Adventure Babies multi-award-winning sensory storytelling classes as they bring books to life through gentle sensory stimulation. You might want to bring a towel and change of clothes for both of you! 11:30-12:00 EARLY YEARS SENSORY STORYTIME with ADVENTURE BABIES (suitable for babies and toddlers) Take your newborn baby on an adventure with Adventure Babies multi-award-winning sensory storytelling classes as they bring books to life through gentle sensory stimulation.
