Southend Theatres are delighted to be launching our next Work Experience programme, running from Monday 1 – Friday 5 July 2024. Our programme will run across both the Cliffs Pavilion and Palace Theatre and explore a variety of departments and careers within our receiving house venues.
The main focus of our week will be tailored around the production of an annual in-house Youth Theatre showcase that takes place on the Palace Theatre stage. However, we will also be exploring departments including, Front of House, Hospitality, Backstage and Technical, Marketing, Creative Learning, Administration, Buildings and Maintenance, and Ticketing.
We will have multiple spaces available on this placement, and all participants must be aged from 14-18 years. To apply for a space, simply send an email to our Creative Learning Manager by no later than Monday 3 June 2024, telling us why you would like to take part in work experience with us.
