SYP Returns in 2024!

We are delighted to announce that our Summer Youth Production fortnight will be returning in 2024. Held in the summer holidays (29 July – 10 August 2024) we take over the theatre to mount a large-scale musical theatre extravaganza. Auditions will be taking place early in 2024 – Show details and dates will be released shortly!

What We Do

Weekly Youth Classes

We offer weekly youth theatre classes for ages 4 – 21, and offer associate classes for all ages in acting, singing, and dancing, creative writing and comedy.

Creative Learning Week & Work Experience

We produce Creative Learning Week, our annual takeover of the theatre and run Work Experience Week for students.

Annual Christmas Show

Every year we co-produce the annual family Christmas show in the Studio.

Programme The Studio

We programme the Studio, the theatre’s second performance space.

Champion Accessibility

We support all of our special access performances at the theatre

Build Industry Partnerships

We are always building partnerships locally and within the theatre industry

The Studio at the Churchill Theatre is our secondary performance venue; a small and quirky multiuse space with adaptable staging, lighting and sound options.
