Time: 10.45- 12.00pm

Young Drama Juniors is an introductory class for children of all abilities. The children have the opportunity to learn key drama skills, try out a range of different genres for example mime, improvisation and comedy and tell their own stories!

The classes are small and are run by two professional experienced theatre practitioners/directors. The idea of the classes is to encourage creativity in each individual child and to explore imagination and storytelling, at the same time learning about theatricality and stage craft in an easy, age-appropriate way. There are no auditions, and everyone is welcome.

The groups play lots of exciting drama games which all are designed to do something different. For example, to encourage sociability, working together, building confidence, etc and quickly we find the group all have their favourites which they return to and evolve themselves!

At the end of each full term, we invite parents and carers in to a sharing where they can experience what the children have been doing, and in the summer the children have an opportunity to perform on a professional stage!
