Bradford Live prides itself on being a welcoming and accessible venue for all visitors. We will always endeavour to support all our patrons to access and enjoy our events. Below you can find a variety of information to help you plan your visit. Our Access Team Our access team is made up of a core group of staff, who help shape and drive the access offer for the building. At Bradford Live, we understand that access can mean so much more than ramps and lifts (though these of course are important). It is about representation and respect as much as anything else, and recognising that barriers to access can be logistical, physical, cultural, financial and more. Through ongoing training of staff and partnerships with organisations such as Attitude is Everything, Bradford Live can ensure that they are at the forefront of access in the live entertainment industry. Recent training for staff has included:
Mental Health Awareness
Personal Assistant Policy
Bradford Live offers a complimentary personal assistant ticket to all shows and workshops for patrons with a variety of access requirements (subject to availability/verification may be required). These can be booked by phone on 0343 310 0026
Accessibility within the building
Access to the venue is step-free via the Box Office Entrance which leads directly into the Stalls/Foyer Bar area. From here, a lift provides access to all floors. The VIP entrance is step-free with access to all floors via lift. Accessible toilets are available on each level. On the ground floor there are three accessible toilets and one Changing Places facility, located between the first and second doors into the stalls.
Assistance is available immediately on entrance into the Box Office Entrance. The counter, as with all our service points, has a wheelchair-accessible section. All six bars have accessible counters. We have a raised platform for wheelchair spaces at the rear of the stalls and wheelchair spaces in the upper circle. Essential companions accompanying patrons in wheelchairs will receive a complimentary ticket (verification may be required). For some shows, additional wheelchair spaces may be available on the auditorium floor; information is available from the accessible phone line.
