Bombay Superstars is a glittering musical extravaganza about the disco, the divas, and the drama that created Bollywood icons.     In the heart of 1970s Bombay’s film industry, a scandalous battlefield of ambition, passion and treachery unfolds. An orphaned girl, shunned by society, arrives in the city of dreams to meet famed director Pavan Picturewalla. Desperate to protect a secret from his cherished daughter Mala, who loves aspiring actor Arjun, Pavan faces a new challenge. Meanwhile, superstar Bunty schemes to seize it all by transforming the young orphan into Rani, who is determined to claim her rightful place as one of the Bombay Superstars.    Directed by Sâmir Bhamra, this deliciously romantic musical will take you down memory lane with iconic Bollywood classics hits like Dum Maro Dum, Chura Liya, Jumma Chumma, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Bachna Ae Haseeno and O Saathi Re with new songs by local talent Robby Khela with musical arrangements by Hinal Pattani.     Bombay Superstars features an exceptional cast of British Asian talent including Rekha, Chirag Rao, Omar Khan and Robby Khela, with live music performed by the electrifying 515 Crew and energising dances choreographed by Leena Patel.
